Parsippany, NJ (June 2, 2008) – Environmental Waste Management Associates, LLC (EWMA) a full service, environmental consulting and remediation firm, has announced the addition of Donald A. Smith, P. G. as Principal Hydrogeologist.

 

At EWMA, Mr. Smith will be taking the lead in developing strategic plans and managing pollution-related hydrogeologic investigations including subsurface and hydraulic characterization, source definition, plume delineation and the design, development, and closure of soil and ground water cleanup programs. With more than 25 years of technical experience, Mr. Smith is responsible for managing projects for EWMA’s remediation group. Prior to joining EWMA, Mr. Smith was a Principal Hydrogeologist for Converse Consultants. He has a long and distinguished career in Brownfield Redevelopment and remedial investigation and cleanup. Mr. Smith is a Registered Professional Geologist in Pennsylvania and Kentucky. He earned his B.S. in Geology at the University of Oregon and his M.S. in Hydrogeology from the University of Idaho.
